Your trust matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit or make a purchase from www.wildwomanherbs.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. The Site is operated by Jasmine Simone, doing business as Wild Woman Herbal Apothecary ("we," "us," or "our").

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly. When you place an order, create an account, sign up for our emails, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and payment information.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, we may automatically collect device and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, time spent, and referring website. This is gathered through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).

Information from third parties. We may receive information from our service providers, such as our ecommerce platform, payment processors, and shipping carriers, to help us fulfill your order and operate the Site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process, fulfill, and deliver your orders.
  • Communicate with you about your order, account, or inquiries.
  • Send you marketing emails about products, rituals, and offerings, where you have opted in.
  • Improve and personalize your experience on the Site.
  • Detect and prevent fraud and maintain the security of the Site.
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as needed to operate, including with:

  • Service providers who process payments, host the Site, send our emails, and ship our products, only to the extent needed to perform those services.
  • Legal and safety recipients, where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of others.
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your information.

Our Site is built on the Shopify platform, and your order and account information is processed through Shopify and its integrated providers. We also use an email marketing platform to manage communications you have opted into.

4. How We Protect Your Information

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. Payment transactions are encrypted and processed through secure, PCI-compliant providers. While we work to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain your information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, keep items in your cart, understand how the Site is used, and support our marketing. Some cookies are essential to the Site's function, while others are optional.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through the cookie preferences banner on our Site. Disabling certain cookies may affect how the Site works for you. We may also use analytics and advertising tools provided by third parties, which set their own cookies subject to their privacy policies.

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common standard for interpreting these signals, our Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

7. Your Privacy Choices

We believe you should have a say in how your information is handled, whether or not a particular law requires it of us.

You may contact us at any time at care@wildwomanherbs.com to ask what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy of it, to ask us to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will honor these requests as a matter of practice, subject to information we must retain for legal, tax, security, or order-fulfillment purposes. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will never treat you differently for making a request.

To the extent any applicable privacy law, including California law, grants you additional rights, we will honor those rights as that law requires. You can manage cookie-based advertising and analytics preferences through the cookie banner on our Site, as described in Section 6.

8. Marketing Choices

When you subscribe to our emails, you may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email or by contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send you transactional messages related to your orders and account.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we may remove it.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.
