When the day has asked everything, this is the way down into rest.
A few drops of Deep Sleep as the light goes. Celestial Rest steeping by the bed until the steam softens the room. The first sip is warmth, and the taste of something floral, fragrant, and sweet. The shoulders soften, the jaw lets go, the body remembers it is allowed to rest.
What begins as a cup of tea becomes, night after night, the hour the body starts to long for.
The day, at last, releasing its grip.
